This tiny outfit was made by me for our group cosplay. The slave Leia bottoms were made from foam, fabric, hot glue, and a LOT OF PRAYERS! Corseted in the back of the top. And finished up with making the slave Leia top curly cues with silver metal and sewn that on top of it all (of course you can't see it). The reason I did this was because my whole cosplay career I looked up to Maggie (who is FuReyosa next to me) and when Maggie asked me to be their Dag/Leia I thought to myself "I made it. There is still some things I am working on for an upgrade including a cover for the straps going from the breastplate to the pauldrons and some thigh armor that doesn't accentuate my already large thighs. I chose to do this because when I was in an abusive relationship I spent all my time playing E.S.3 to escape the pain I was going though. I had two buns on my head and was wearing my deadpool suit when suddenly EVERYONE started complementing me on my Harleypool. I refused to be Harley Quinn. Her background was similar to mine and I simply couldn't cosplay someone who was being currently abused. But the idea grew on me. Obviously she had to leave Mr. J to be Harleypool. So I went with it. She's my "I keep adding stuff to her" cosplay. I had to bodysuit (well...it was my husbands). I came up with her logo (see belt buckle made of foam). Got hair extensions to match the Suicide Squad Harley. I made the "slave collar" instead of "Puddin" it says "Chimichanga" I figure that would be her nickname for him. My first armor pieces. The pauldrons are made of sintra plastic and foam. Those bracers in the picture were updated with much sturdier ones (and nicer pattern as well!). The top is a bra frankensteined into a crop top, it was resewn with the gold and green. then the green was covered in individually placed beetle wings. The pants were my first pair I ever made. The belt was made with the same gold as the top. And I added the logo which was made out of foam. The shoes were covered with the same green fabric as the pants. And the trident is PVC pipe, foam and the top piece is plywood (my husband cut out my design because I'm accident prone). I was on the phone with my brother (who is a police officer) and I was asking him who I should cosplay as (this was about 4-5 months into cosplay) because I wanted to do something for him as a thank you for being my hero. He told me I wish you were a boy so you could be Aquaman and he laughed. I said welp I guess that means I'll genderbend Aquaman. And this is what came out of that conversation. Also found out our girl cat Chibi enjoys eating beetle wings, who knew?!? Currently the trident is broken (although it is kinda fixed) thanks to my turtle Cleo, who decided to knock it down when it was just him and it in an empty(LARGE) room. Yes, that's real life. The bottom layer has LED lights sewn onto it. The top layer was added after the LED's were sewn in and I pulled and white glued them in place to the top velvet layer. This was SUPER time consuming and tedious. Then for the finishing touches I added the white fur. This cape SCREAMS Emma since the LED's glitter and glisten. I will get photos of this in the snow if it's the last thing I do! Scarecrow was made because he scared the crap out of me when I played Arkham Asylum. I wasn't familiar with him but when I looked into his history I realized he was a perfect fit for me. He had an abusive childhood, but instead of being a good guy (like me) he chose the darker path. Scarecrow, to this day, is my most noted cosplay. He's also my #1 favorite, but don't tell the others. My crescent moon crown is foam covered in modpodge and tissue paper (for texture). Bra was taken apart and fixed to look more like hers. I took panty hose and painted them (this was I don't have to paint my legs everytime). And the arm bands are made of plastic circles (given to me by Water Of Glass Cosplay), chainmailed up to three leather bands.
